For my first year at MCT I had Project One. This is a project that implements every course into one big project. I decided to build a smart mailbox. It has a web app that shows how many letters you have in your mailbox and if you have any packages. It also sends you a text message when you have mail. The mailbox is built with a Raspberry Pi and several sensors and motors. This was one of my favorite projects because I learned a lot about hardware and how to build a system that interacts with the real world.
